In light of recent anti-Asian hate crimes and an unknown future regarding mass evictions caused by the pandemic, the LMC reaches out to our Filipino brother’s & sister’s by speaking with Estella Habal about the legacy of the San Francisco International Hotel. Estella Habal is an activist, scholar, and the author of, “San Francisco’s International Hotel: Mobilizing the Filipino American Community in the Anti-Eviction Movement.”
