About

The Latino Media Collective is a grassroots Latino public-affairs program that airs on Pacifica station WPFW 89.3fm in Washington DC.  From the biggest countries in South America to the smallest enclaves in Central America and the Caribbean, no issue or movement for social justice is too small to be spotlighted on the Latino Media Collective.  The show airs on Friday @ 1pm EST.

The Latino Media Collective was created in April 2006 by original producer Norberto Martinez and since then, we have reported extensively on issues affecting Latin America covering the largest countries in South and North American to the smallest enclaves in Central American as well as the Caribbean.  We pride ourselves on discussing issues that the American Corporate Media in the United States does not cover.

We invite you to be well informed and to follow the Latino Media collective.  Our radio program is hosted by Oscar Fernandez airs every Friday from 1:00-200pm from WPFW 89.3FM.  Co-production & engineering by Abby Roberts.
