On this episode, the LMC spends the hour with Sarah Seidman on the political legacy of civil rights activist Angela Davis’ time in Cuba as it pertains to women’s rights. Sarah Seidman is a Puffin Foundation Curator of Social Activism for the Museum of the City of New York.

  1. Do you happen to know what the music is at the beginning of the sound cloud? I didn’t know Angela Davis was a communist or an internationalist/ revolutionary. This was a helpful interview with Sarah Seidman. Thanks for the history lesson!
