July 5th, 2019: The Artistic Legacy of Fernando Llort

Corporate media focuses so much on the doom and gloom in El Salvador that it almost erases the beauty and the artistic identity of the Salvadoran people. For this show, we speak with Salvadoran artist Veronica Melendez and Kimberly Benavides. They are the co-creators of La Horchata Zine, a seasonal publication dedicated to Salvadoran artists and poets in Washington DC.
