Much like MS-13, Los Zetas of Mexico are a creation of US foreign policy, military support of the Mexican government, and a reflection of the failed “war on drugs.” But while MS-13 is a violent street gang, Los Zetas are an organized syndicate that rises to the level of multinational corporations.
