January 30th, 2026: Black Perspectives on Venezuela

In our continuing coverage of the fallout of the US invasion of Venezuela, the LMC hosted a roundtable discussion to present a Black perspective on Venezuela and how US imperialism affects all Afro-descendents in the Western Hemisphere.

Our roundtable includes James Early, a former Smithsonian Institution Assistant Secretary for Education and Public Service. Egberto Willies, the host of “Politics Done Right”, which airs on Pacifica station KPFT in Houston, Texas. And Austin Cole, the National Co-Coordinator for the Black Alliance for Peace and the Co-Coordinator of the BAP Haiti/Americas Team.
